I realize that The Beast can excist in small doses in me, and even in other human beeings. And this, in the worst case, can open the door to dictatorship.

We have to be aware and take control over expressions like jealousy, greed, ignorance before it catches fire and gets out of control.

The greatest singleweapon working against this is not to be afraid. Differences can lead to greater understanding, when we learn to communicate better. 

Therefore, wish your fellowman a good day. And pay attention to people in need of aid. Small things count!

Crawling out from the dark side of humanity

Sniffing the air to check if the timing is right

Awaiting the arrival of a spokesman

Someone who can add fire to his fight

Around the corner people are living their own lives

Wishing for a good day and a life in peace

Watching the news, not knowing it is propaganda

Making the way clear, for the beast

And all these things are happening in my lifetime

With signs, so familiar from the wars

With fear, fright and fake news they try to grab us

Where chaos awaits behind every door

Yes, my friend I have finally awoken

And where I stand, I know that I am not alone

But even around here, a fire can spread so easy

If the gap is too big between the rich and the poor

Because, alienation - can awake the beast

Jealousy - awakes the beast

Greed - nourishes the beast

Ignorance - allows the beast

Rascism - consolidates the beast

Dictatorship - feeds the beast

War - huh - what is it good for?

And all these things are happening in my lifetime

With signs, so familiar from the wars

But when fear, fright and fake news try to grab us

There will be no chaos behind my door
